Lame without 3D

I have only seen this film in the 3D version which actually takes the film to a quite enjoyable level. Without 3D a lot of the action would be very hoaky. The acting is bad, scenes repeat and soldiers dodge giant foam boulders, but where else can you see a Kong-like beast swat a helicopter out of the sky and then give it the finger.
