| I am terribly sad to have to write this review. Margaret Cho is one of the funniest and most brilliant comics around, as evidenced by her previous DVD releases. This disc therefore comes as quite a shock to dedicated Cho fans. It is truly dismal. Her timing is off, she's just not funny, and she makes offensive jokes about Arab-Americans. The same dumb jokes about gay people get boring, too, honestly. Why, Margaret, why? She looks like she's lost a huge amount of weight, and maybe with it she's lost her sense of timing, wit and sarcasm. Because I got through 15 minutes of this film and had to turn it off, totally unamused, annoyed and bored. Check out her earlier releases - They are exponentially better and funnier! |
