It's a new day in Tokyo: The city is under siege by Boomers going mad -- thanks to Galataea -- and the effect is slowly spreading outward as the disease is transmitted from Boomer to Boomer. The Genom-controlled media try to suppress the news, but Nene and Daley manage to get Leon on the air to warn people, before Genom scrambles their signal. It's revealed that the Boomers aren't simple robots: Sylia's father created them by synthesizing an intelligent living metal, and using a core based on an implant in Sylia's hypothalamus. At the Knight Sabers' headquarters, Sylia explains to Priss how their old hard suits are actually Boomers whose consciousness is suppressed, and how the new hard suit design will get around this problem. Meanwhile, Leon gathers the reinvigorated AD Police front line officers to the entrance to Genom's underground Dragon Line, where they intend to seal off the source of Galatea's signal.
