I couldn't ignore the fact that this film seemed to be constantly bordering on stupidity. And so when it kept making me laugh so hard that I could barely breathe I started to question my own stupidity. I think that there is a fine line that Chris Rock walks on here that makes the movie so hilarious. It reminded me of how I felt when I first saw the movie Airplane when it was fresh and nearly as stupid. This film has elements of classic slapstick humor that have been around for a long time but is well situated in the present time. Chris Rock creates some unique and hilarious parodies of modern film and music artists, some more or less obvious than others. If you like Chris Rock then you will really like this movie.
