Easily irked hotel owner Basil Fawlty (John Cleese) decides his establishment needs a bit of sprucing up. | Mediocre writing. Gags that you can see coming a mile away. Acting that ranges from harmlessly bad to painful-to-watch awful. It all adds up to a completely unfunny experience. You might get more laughs reading 'The Brothers Karamazov'. Avoid like the plague. |
