| I have to agrees with all that HChang said above and add this movie defines the word, "kawaii". Usually translated as "cute", it is much more of a passion for the Japanese and this version warms the heart rather than promotes tooth decay. And the music! I just bought the soundtrack recently and it spins often in my player and my dreams. |

| The animation in Ah! My Goddess! is beautiful and breathtaking. It seems like there are some CG effects, but they are subtle. The cinematography is truly a modern display of what current Japanese animation can do. The storyline can be a bit confusing near the middle. There are some science fiction components that make it a little hard to comprehend. Voice acting is spot on (I didn't here the dub version). Honestly, I like the original OVA because of the story and sweet innocent romance between Bellydandy and Keichii. This movie doesn't seem to portray their love in such deep fashion. Overall, a great cinemaic experience for the die hard Ah My Goddess fans. |
