"Voici! Dans la main! Lue-coo-roo!" The old man seems to know something pretty durn important, but he don't speak no English and even his French is limited. His ability to communicate a complex order for specialized chemicals remains unexplained, but at that point we found our belief fully suspended by this compact gem of VOD cinematic dynamism.
Then the wild dog hunt begins. The actual killing is skillfully portrayed off screen in a economy of narrative that makes the needless canine deaths even more poignant. A satisfying climax ties up all the loose ends except for one ... who blessed the bullets? |
