Italian horror legend Lucio Fulci directed this strange little mystery about a woman (Karina Huff) whose millionaire father (Duilio del Prete) is murdered by having ground glass frozen into the ice cubes used in his drink. Del Prete's spirit then causes Huff to search for his killer, but as his body rots, his reach into the world of the living grows progressively less effective. The bulk of the story analyzes the motivations of the usual assortment of greedy relatives, and -- to please fans -- Fulci throws in one of his obligatory zombie attacks in an unrelated nightmare sequence.
