Synopsis
This entry in the series of documentaries known as The Directors examines the career of B-movie legend Roger Corman. In addition to being responsible for a popular series of Edgar Allan Poe adaptations, Corman has produced an amazing run of successful low-budget films. Award-winning directors Peter Bogdanovich, Martin Scorsese, Jonathan Demme, and Ron Howard were all hired by Corman early in their careers and have credited him with being a valuable teacher in regards to the nuts and bolts of actually making a movie. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide
