Whenever Keichi leaves the house, Belldandy, Urd and Skuld shrink themselves to play with the other residents of the area - including their clueless rat sidekick, Gan. Whether it's a battle against Gan-zilla or adventures in kitchen appliance romances, the goddesses' adventures are dangerously funny! Although frequently the butt of the goddesses jokes and the victim of their mistakes, Gan the rat persists in his absolute devotion to Belldandy and never questions whether Urd and Skuld may be dangerous for his health...

I liked it, but I'm a kid! by ShayCafe July 25, 2003 - 1:51 PM PDT

I liked this DVD, at least the parts that Mom allowed me to see. We weren't allowed to watch episode 1, "Let's tell your fortune", or episode 10, "The secret of the diamond". My 5 year old brother and I thought this DVD was really funny, kind of like Tom and Jerry. Poor Gan-chan kept getting beaten up.

My favorite part was the vanishing dugout in episode 12, "Let's play ball". I wish my team could do that at a softball game. My brother's favorite part was the end of episode 11, "Gabira the strike back". He liked the part where Gabira and the robot became friends.

I don't think all grown ups will like this DVD. Hneline1 complained when they played episodes from Adventures of the Mini-Goddess as filler between the other anime at Anime-Expo.

Fun But Not Great by AstroNerdBoy April 18, 2003 - 4:19 PM PDT

With the popularity of the "Oh My Goddess" manga combined with the 5-part OAV series and "Ah! My Goddess" movie, it is only natural that there should be a TV series. However, while this series uses the OMG world as a base, it is more of a kiddie show.

The basic premise has Urd and Skuld in chibi (mini) form as they hang out with a rat named Gan (Gan-chan as they call him). Belldandy also shows up from time-to-time but she's usually not that involved. The episodes only got for several minutes and usually have the rat getting the short end of the stick.

The show was pretty funny when it started, but it soon grew old to me. However, you might find it more enjoyable than I.
