Terrifying Girls' High School: Lynch Law Classroom (1973)

    see all cast/crew...
Rating: Not Rated
Studio: Panik House
Genre: Action, Cult, Foreign, Japan, Sexploitation

Terrifying Girls' High School opens with a female school clique bloodletting a fellow student amidst verbal abuse and harsh accusation. The terrified girl breaks free of the life-draining vacuum syringe and races to the roof, where her tormentors force her off the ledge and stomp on her fingers until she falls to her death. This is all before the main titles! And that clique? They aren't even the real bad girls! This is reform school, and the new crop of inmates (whose apprehension we witness) includes Miki Sugimoto and Reiko Ike. This is like Mean Girls via Caged Heat as written by Jess Franco and directed by Russ Meyer. All those Takashi Miike fans need to check out this film.

An Asian Smorgasbord, in bad taste by groovejude June 18, 2013 - 1:38 PM PDT
I am not a fan of gore, especially the over-the top Asian mutilation and blood-spraying films typical of the genre. If your ARE a fan of such films, this one will fall short of your expectations even on that count. It is a strange admixture of violence, action, and sexploitation. If the director had focused on any one of these three genres instead of his cut-and-paste aprroach (supposedly in hopes of broadending his viewing audience) he could have made a much more involving and watchable film. There are even comedic moments thrown in here and there, which are entirely out of character for the film. Not recommended.
