Cliches, stereotypes, inconsistant characterization passing for character development; unrelated, often arbitrary or illogical actions passing for plot, and stilted dialog. The gay guy finally has the balls to come out to his father, but has his brother break the news to his fiancee. Gimme a break! On the plus side, the acting is passable and a great soundtrack makes it bearable and seem shorter than it is - but if you're into the 60's you already have all the music. |
