Studio: Whispered Media
Genre: Documentary, Political & Social Issues
Running Time: 96 min.

Synopsis
Gripped by dot-com fever and dreams of instant wealth, the nation mostly ignored the housing crunch that plagued San Francisco during the Internet boom. Now the boom has gone bust, but the city is still reeling from the tidal wave of new money that washed in and out, leaving record numbers of artists, non-profits, and working-class tenants evicted. With perspectives from all sides of the issue, Boom captures the peak of that momentous time, while exposing the ironies and contradictions of this "new economy."
