This DVD was struck from a good clear print - best I've seen for this movie. Unfortunately, it's also the heavily edited TV version. No nudity at all. (drat!)
Story? Oh, yeah. A mercenary turned mad-scientist performs experiments on apes that are the catalyst for this jungle soap opera. These experiments mostly involve inserting AA batteries into the ape's heads and sending them out to do nefarious deeds. The bad guy's plans are foiled by a big beefcake and a wild woman with modest hair. Fans of Pyschotronic cinema will be slightly amused, but all others should stay away from this sweaty safari.
Also: It has a cool Euro-Lounge soundtrack. |
