Cute. In a word: cute.

In a review: Still cute.

I wasn't expecting too much from this movie, and that might possibly be the real way to go into it. The plot is a bit much to originally take in [what IS a 'party line' anyway?] but still a good way to spend a mindless evening feeling like you're cultured enough to watch older romantic comedies as opposed to just pathetic watching more current ones.

One trick that might help you watch it if you're being forced to see it: Although Rock Hudson was a homosexual, it still didn't stop him from being multiply cast in roles for women to swoon over. This film is no exception. We're here, We're queer, & We're your romatic comedy icons.
