| Had not the slightest notion as to why I rented this, until I was watching and the notice of the 1970 original came up; both versions are horribly paced and really film-noirish - I mean it's based on the short "Dispair" - but the 70s one has icon Uschi Digard, which always makes a production interesting. Not certain at all why they thought it should have been re-made, as even the 2000 one is about the "evils" of bisexual lesbianism, mxed in with "blow". Still, some great video look, trying, in part, to copy the original's film grain. |
