The Iron Mask back to product details

It was really rather charming. Who knew?

So I had no idea what to expect when i popped this in (damn that drunken bout of queueing up flicks!), but lo and behold, this was really a blast of a swashbuckler. Fairbanks was really good at the slient film acting but with the added narration in this, he proves he is totally on top of the talkie game as well. There are some hokey plot points-the last sequence is a real doozy--but I gotta say, I had a great time watchiing it. Watch it as the first movie of a good action flick double feature, maybe. Before Chinese Ghost Story Part One. Discuss!
