Okay, first off, the synopsis written by Cavett Binion is just plain wrong. Secondly, this movie is not at all hard to follow. Outside of the fact that some of the characters look and dress alike (all mustaches look the same to me in black and white), the plot was actually pretty straight forward.
The basic premise is that one doctor has made a promise to another doctor that if he dies first, he will show the still living doctor the secret to life after death. The dead doctor keeps his promise via a medium, but is vague and foreboding with the answer. You can watch the movie yourself if you want to know what the answer is.
Overall I thought the movie was interesting and moved well. The special effects weren't even too bad for something of this genre. If you're into spooky old sci-fi/horror, I recommend this movie. |
