Not great

Largely forgettable nonsense redeemed only slightly by Colin Farrell's compelling love interest, Li Gong, and a brief spurt of the terrific Nina Simone song "Sinnerman," of which a better version, however, appears in climactic heist scene in the recent remake of "The Thomas Crown Affair." Well, and one other nicely done scene in which the crack-shot blond cop chick memorably transcends the glamor-puss restrictions that were so annoying laid on the cop chicks in the TV original. I always thoroughly enjoyed the ridiculously self-important broodiness of the TV show, but it worked better in hour-long episodes than in this big-budget two-hour hodge-podge.
