The Protector is full of what I watch MA movies for. While some of the peripheral characters are a little odd, I found most of them to be effective and not too cliche. The production value is very good in all of the fighting scenes as well as the chase scenes. The four minute continuous fight scene in the restraunt was nothing short of incredible (check out the extras). If this is any indication of what we can expect of Tony Jaa in the future, then I can't wait for his next effort. I just hope that he stays true to what he has established.
