Synopsis
German filmmaker Olaf Ittenbach, whose low-budget splatter epics have won him a worldwide cult following, directed and stars in this gory and ambitious shocker. Premutos was the first fallen angel whose evil spirit has been walking the Earth in a variety of hosts since the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. When a man (Ittenbach) finds a book on Premutos and begins to read it aloud, he unwittingly brings the demon back to Earth, who not only takes over the unfortunate gentleman's body, but then brings an army of the dead back to life to do his murderous bidding. Premutos: Lord of the Living Dead also features Anke Fabre, Ingrid Fischer, and Fidelilis Atuma. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

The first thing you notice about "Premutos" is the ridiculous English dubbing. Aside from that, there's a horrible script, ridiculous dubbing, atrocious dialogue (maybe the result of the ridiculous dubbing), horrible acting, ridiculous dubbing, lame camera work, ridiculous dubbing and finally, ridiculous dubbing. Oh and did I mentioned (you guessed it!) the RIDICULOUS DUBBING! By now, you're getting the idea that "Premutos" is a pretty lousy movie and it most defintely is but it does have one thing going for it: tons and tons of delicious special FX done on a shoe string budget (most of the buck$ obviously going to gallons and gallons of blood). We're talking mutilation of zombies by shot gun, hand gun, scythe, knife stabbing, machette chopping, chainsaw slicing, beer bottles and even being run over by and blast to bits by a tank! Other than that, the dubbing sucks!!!
