| This film was painful. The dialogue was trite and boring, the effects overproduced (and down right shitty) and the villains were something out of GIJOE cartoons. But wait, I have not begun to delve into the murky cesspool that is this films plot. Here is a brief badly punctuated rundown: organ harvesters caught in a hotel with police who are protecting a woman from evil potbellied sword swinging neo-samurai cum gangster and his zombie troops (zombies for the acting style and their un-kill-ability) who are waging a war to make London town their ??? (their motives were not really explained it was left to a "well its what gangsters do!" conclusion for the viewer) as if this was not painful enough add the Mafia man from America named...TONY! (surprise!) At some point I just stopped watching and focused on trimming my toenails and fast-forwarded through the rest. My favorite part of the film though was when the "Russian" mobsters, who are speaking "Russian" mind you...well they not only mispronounce words but it sounds that they are reading cue-cards in monotone, but they tried! As opposed to the other reviewer I will write each and every persons name in this film down and avoid watching anything that they have any part in...well except for the guy doing the subtitles they were crisp and white and easy to read. |

Bad acting, bad editing, ok story.
The timing, both in the acting and the editing is mostly way off target. The story is pretty cool, it probably looked, and was, great on paper. But the end result is abysmal. I do how ever look forward to seeing what the people behind it do next. Just because they messed up on this movie doesn't mean that they won't deliver a better product next time around. |
