| This is not really a comedy by my definition but not bad to watch, it definitely rises above its limited budget. There are some funny moments, but this film is mostly enjoyable thanks to really good acting and smart, very natural dialog. The characters are flawed and real and because of the believability, you end up caring about them. I would call this more Psychological Dramedy rather than Romantic Comedy. Also, I was shocked to see John Zorn did the horrible music, which intruded on my enjoyment from time to time. Overall, a good film to watch, moreso if you are a sucker for stories about heterosexuals getting together. |
