Truly enjoyable, not just film history.

Famous films are sometimes watched out of a sense of having to sit thru them in order to know the history of the genre, but this is one to have fun with. Many of the elements that define the Western are here, but you want to see it because it is fun. (Though Ford seems to have confused Apaches, Navajos (shot in Navajo country), and Mexicans (a supposed Navajo woman sings a Spanish ballad).
