This futuristic drama offers the classic story of Shane with a few interesting twists. The tale is set in a smouldering, decimated post WW III world in the town of Meridian which has been besieged by bad-guys belonging to a powerful landowner who is trying to monopolize the precious local water supplies and fighting with a forthright widow. To this beleaguered place comes the enigmatic swordsman/ warrior Nomad who has come in search of his mentor's killer. The town hires him as their "Peacemaker" and he is able to end their problems and get his revenge to boot.
