There was a lot of nice music in this movie. Very strange stuff. This one was pretty boring. I couldn't really tell what was going on, the narrative is very convoluted. I think before trying to tackle this one, one should be well versed in the greek myth. However, I was not, and the film should be able to stand alone, and it really doesn't. There are some brief points where Pasolini editorializes about nature and what is "natural." I assume that this must have been central to the theme, but I really could't understand what any of it meant.
I just felt like there wasn't much here. |
