| The one thing i admire about madonna (besides your beauty..some of her early music.. choice in husband and willingness to piss everyone off) was her ability to dig deep inside her own quirks. if she'd had been cast in basic instinct or blue velvet.. she midght of had more help. it's not that she is especially bad in this mediocre thriller, nor especially good. the script she was working with was very.. very noirish but never quite let itself go with it. with william dafoe providing a outlandish partner for her. while there is no point to this movie other than kinky sex. i found that if there would of been more detail.. and a stronger script.. this movie could of been more.. but that's the way i feel about a lot of movies |
