The filmakers along with the subject have created a wonderful viewing experience by combining creative visual technicques along with a semi-autobiographical documentary on the subject. Critics of Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911 may say that the viewer is only being treated to Robrt Evans' version of his life, but that fact is pretty blunt as Mr. Evans does the narration (very well). The movie itself brings up a lot of unanswered questions about his journey (both the highs and the lows), which hopefully are addressed in his book of the same name. The extras on the DVD are interesting as well.
One of the best Doc's I have seen.

This is not just a documentary, it is a little piece of Hollywood history. Robert Evans has had one of the most amazing careers in Hollywood. Heck, one of the most amazing career's period! This movie is packed with behind the scene's stories from movies like "Rosemary's Baby", "The Godfather", and "Love Story". Evans himself is the narrator of the film giving you the feeling of the kind of man he is and was. This movie has a real honesty you don't get much of in Hollywood. It plays like a narritive film, a documentary and a romance all rolled into one. It is super enjoyable to watch. Have fun!
