| As well documented, movie plots come in fads depent on what's proven successful. Recently the era of death via video or web site, I expected this movie to rise to the quality or effectiveness of "The Ring" based on both it's on-screen talent and it's director in charge. Malone did a good job with "House on Haunted Hill" and this movie boasts a strong cast most notable being Dorff and Combs and Rea playing against type. Technically, the movie sustains with trademark camera FX and MTV paced editing as seen in "House..." but script-wise, the movie fails to convince or work. |
