Vampire killer Blade first made his gruesome mark onscreen in the 1998 film starring Wesley Snipes, launching a film franchise that has been a favorite of horror fans everywhere. The battle against the undead continues in this stylish series, as Blade, played by rapper Sticky Fingaz, fights to save the human race from hordes of evil bloodsuckers. With a new type of super-vampire in the works, humanity's only hope comes from this half-man half-immortal hunter and his capable and alluring comrade (Jill Wagner). This collection presents all 13 episodes of the dark and action-packed series.

You usually don't see a series produced to match the original film so carefully. Kurt "Sticky" Jones does a great job filling the spot where Wesley Snipes left off. The camera work, sets, acting, effects, etc. are all worthy of the original films. It's too bad that the series didn't last past it's original run. I wouldn't be surprised if this will become a cult classic like the Firefly series.
