After his comedic antics on MONTY PYTHON, Terry Jones did the obvious and found a second career as a historian. In this eight-episode BBC production, Jones examines common characters from the Middle Ages, throwing new light on dusty old stereotypes. Like many of Jones's previous programs, MEDIEVAL LIVES exposes long-running assumptions regarding the past, among them, how damsels could be far from dainty and why knights weren't always heroic.
