Depending on how you feel about italian horror, you'll probably find "werewolf woman" to be either a) an enjoyably hysterical expolaration of sexual trauma gone mad told in fetching gothic fairy tale version of classic werewolf mythology or b) typical eurotrash sleaze that falls more on the silly side than the sexy. Myself, I think Walerian Borowczyk was more successfull, in both senses, in his 1975 grotesque "the beast". Anyway, this isn't the flick to live up to the promise of "the wolf man", despite knockout promo materials.
