Synopsis
From French director Chris Marker (LA JETÉE), A GRIN WITHOUT A CAT traces 10 years of leftist political history from 1967 to 1977. Documenting political upheaval, wars, and various national conflicts, Marker looks at Vietnam, Bolivia, Prague, Chile, and of course, France. The film was originally released in 1978, and was then revamped for a rerelease in 1993, though its U.S. theatrical release was delayed until 2002.
