Synopsis
This biography profiles the life and musical career of country legend Hank Williams. The crooner from Montgomery, AL, could write songs as he sang them, and with such strength and conviction that the audience was captivated. The program chronicles his fabulous but short-lived career. Included are archival film clips of Williams performing some of his best-loved songs, such as "Your Cheatin' Heart," "Honky Tonkin'," and "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry." The personal recollections of his son and other country stars give insight into this man who made his mark and tragically died at the age of 29. ~ Rose of Sharon Winter, All Movie Guide
