All I can say is WOW! I loved this movie. The pacing isn't what you would expect from Hollywood, so it's a lil slow for most American viewers. But this movie was one of my favorite of 2008. So unconventional, cute, touching, a little scary, and a little campy all at the same time.

| This is 'first love' and 'coming of age' mixed with 'interview with a vampire'. Roughly, a 12-yo boy, picked on by bullies at school, meets a girl who just moved in next door - and eventually figures out that she's a vampire. I won't place spoilers, but the story is remarkably good, the acting is at least as good, and it's well worth an evening. I watched in Swedish with English subtitles - can't comment on the English dub or English Narrative subtitles. |
