This is a classic, brilliant early Truffaut which stars the divine Jeanne Moreau as a winsome bride, whose wedding bliss turns to horror when her husband is gunned down outside the church. Making a mission of her husbands death, the elegant and brooding Moreau makes it her business to find the guilty and avenge her true loves death.
