The two discs for this series are very different. The first covers the four episodes (gosh, I can hardly believe that only four were made) while the second disc covers a conference.

The show is basically short clips (5-10 minutes) on a variety of subjects that fall into three categories: sex, art, and brain damaged people with cameras. The sex clips are very similar to what you might see on the HBO real sex shows. I can't say that they are bad or good, but I can say that its nothing new. Some of the artist clips might be interesting to those that are into it. The worst are the mentally ill people with cameras. They try to spin these off as documentaries about people who swear they've been sent back in time, or are really aliens. Interestingly all had their memories suppressed, but were able to "recover" them. This whole series is built around "things you can't see in today's media"...actually you can...its called the National Enquirer.

The conference basically falls into the same pattern. There are one or two speakers that are interesting, and the rest are garbage. They range from someone talking about government/society philosophy to a man who tried successfully to get abducted and swears that even though he was stoned, the whole thing was real.

... just seeing a live interview with Kenneth Anger is worth getting this DVD -- none of the interviewer's questions actually get answered -- it is simply a forum for Anger to prostletize Crowley -- really funny, in a wing-nut kind of way

Simple: It's the speakers that count by starchy October 20, 2004 - 5:01 PM PDT

Are you interested in watching lectures from people like Robert Anton Wilson, Douglas Rushkoff, and Grant Morrison? If so, you'll love this disc. If not, there's absolutely no reason for you to rent it; that's all it contains. It really is just that simple. Note that whether or not you've seen and enjoyed the first disc will have little bearing on how much you like this one, and vice-versa.
