When words are not enough... by ivygirl October 15, 2003 - 11:29 PM PDT

I just can't say how much I enjoy this anime enough. I realized that I could probably write a 3,000 word essay on each of the main characters.

On the surface, half human hald demon Inu Yasha teams up with modern day girl Kagome to recover pieces of the "Shikon no Tamu," "Sacred Jewel," or "Jewel of the 4 Souls," whichever one floats your boat, becasue Kagome can see and sense the shards of the jewels where as otehrs cannot. So they run around feudal Japan kicking some demon ass. Lots of action. Lots of ass kicking.

Let's dig a little deeper.

Wow. This anime is jsut amazing. It is very long, and this dvd is justing getting into the 30's of an anime with 4 times that many epsidoes under it's belt.

The characters are so developed and have such a wide range of perspectives and reasons for what they do.

Every one of the main characters could have their own book written about what drives and motivates them to do what they do. No one is truly good for the sake of being good, and no one is eveil for the sake a being evil.

These characters are all or nothing. You either side with them in thier own journey's or you love to hate them and wish for all thier plans to crumble before them.

Until GC lists the entirety of a series for each disc of the series (167 episodes on 55 discs), here's this one. Contains summary/comments for each disc.
A to Z Anime
I have gone throught the entire list of anime that GC has to offer and I have come up with these titles that sounded interesting. I particularly like anime with comedy and action
