Mexican wrestling superhero Santo finds himself at the center of a diabolical revenge plot after his girlfriend is murdered by a masked villain known as the Black Hood. He realizes that defeating his adversary may require more than a well-timed stranglehold when he discovers that the Hood's grudge stretches back to 1603 when he sold his soul to the devil after an Inquisition-era incarnation of Santo stole his one true love.
