|Just like every written story/manga brought to the big screen/TV, this one does a great job introducing the plot and basic storyline. I normally do not like futuristic/cyborg/sci-fi anime, but this one definitly does a good job of it. However, if you get sucked into it and want to know what REALLY happens to Gally/Alita, pick up the Manga (in any Barns & Noble/Borders) American store and check it out! It is well worth it! (btw, I am a very picky person, so the ratings below are exceptional in my opinion).
(-)Unfortunatly this anime just kind of dumps you off at the end of this two Ep. series. READ THE BOOKS! they are completely translated into English and already published in there entirety
(-)follows the Manga loosly.
(1 to 10 rating)
Plot: 7 (lower b/c I have read the manga)
Gruesome/Gore: 6.5 (tollerable to an 11th grade disection of a frog, but not college)
Overall: 9 (can't say why, just see it)
