This isn't a bad movie if you are into 70's era cheesy karate movies. It has nothing to do with Bruce Lee though. I'm not sure what the synopsis for it is all about. I guess it was taken from the DVD sleeve but I'm pretty sure it was written by someone who has never actually seen the movie. They probably thought if they put the truth on the back of the box that they wouldn't sell as many DVDs.
It has a tacked on opening where lightning strikes Bruce Lee's grave and he jumps out like a maniac. Then the real movie begins and it is a fairly standard revenge type plot. The guy comes into the city to meet with his friend and finds out he has died under mysterious circumstances. He sets out to avenge the death. It does have some weird touches to it. Like he carries his dead friend's ashes in a big box around his neck.
If you like this sort of thing it is definitely worth checking out but just don't expect Enter the Dragon. |
