Holy wow. What a shocker. I had no idea I would fall in love with this series. My friend told me it was good and I should rent it sometime. Eventually I did (I waited WAY too long) rent it so I could watch it before the movie came out. I am now 100% hooked. It is honestly better than Star Wars I, II and III (Lucas really sucked, Joss should have written and directed the prequel) and Startrek combined. It might just be the best scifi ever.

Yep, I said it. It's the best.

Frosty

Simply the best

Full of adventure, fun and terrific story lines. One of the best shows I've ever seen on television. See it before the movie comes out and then GO SEE THE MOVIE!!!!

Another great disc of Firefly

The second disc of Firefly continues on with four more great episodes. They are:

Shindig: On the planet Persephone, Mal needs to attend a fancy ball to arrange a job. While there, he runs into Inara (who is at the ball with her client), and attempts to defend her honor. Includes commentary by writer Jane Espenson, actress Morena Baccarin (who plays Inara), and costume designer Shawna Trpcic.

Safe: While trying to unload their cargo of cattle, Mal and his crew end up in the middle of a gunfight, and Shepard Book gets hit by the cross fire. Meanwhile, Simon and River are kidnapped by locals in need of a doctor.

Our Mrs. Reynolds: While on a planet, Mal accidentally marries a young, naive girl named Saffron. While the crew tries to figure out what to think of the matter, Saffron starts showing that she's not quite as naive as they thought.

Jaynestown: While trying to pick up cargo from a mudder colony, the crew ends up in a town where Jayne is a folk hero.
