| Obvious, clunky, annoying and less, VERONICA GUERIN takes someone who simply must have been a complex, perhaps difficult, person and renders her one-dimensional with all the carefully crafted non-tics that Hollywood has to offer. Since the producer was Jerry Bruckheimer and the director Joel Schumacher, nothing more need be said?-except that even Cate Blanchett can?t even save this piece of nothing. Worst series of moments: the overlong, milk-it-for-all-its-worth death scene. What a bogus pile of crap. |
