Don't even think of comparing these to North By Northwest by estherjane February 6, 2007 - 9:38 AM PST
I found both of these to be quite good, actually. The message is a little heavy-handed in this day and age, but the stories are well written and probably felt uplifting as they were intended to be. While Bon Voyage has a nice twist, I actually prefered Aventure Malgache - the dark shadows and smoke, the perfectly composed mise en scene, the superb acting all combine to create a brooding film noir.
