8 for the movie-which I'd seen years ago-The dvd is a God-Awful atrocity as far as the dub goes. And what's up with no english subs?A movie this important should be required watching for teenagers-what a stunning anti-drug statement this movie has-I saw it upon its initial release, and it still moves me. Just disappointing dvd transfer. I'd give the dvd itself a 2. It's more important than this atrocious transfer.

Excellent movie -- Bad DVD!!! by zarran67 July 27, 2003 - 8:34 AM PDT

This is a very good movie, but it's greatness is diminished by a poor english dub. There is a german track on the DVD, but NO english subtitles! The company that put this release together should be punished for this atrocity... which is almost as bad as releasing films not in the original aspect ratio!

Bottom line -- Very good movie, Horrible DVD
