Angie (Sally Yeh) is an undergraduate from Canada who is on hiliday in hong Kong as well as doing research work for her thesis- "Chinese Superstitiion". She looked for accommodation and met Hansom (Raynong Wong). While Angie disguished herself as a ghost to scare Hansom, he was thrown out of the window by a genuine ghost. Detective Balentioin (Chow Yun Fat) came to inverstigate the accident and they unfod the actual happening of the tragic enening when Singer Lisa Law had shot her lover.
