| One of the best kung-fu films ever. Jet Li left the Once Upon a Time in China series to portray another legendary folk hero here. Fong Sai Yuk is much more playful than master Wong, and when he gets into trouble, his two-fisted mom (Siao) is quick to fight by his side! The film is overflowing with comedy, romance, tragedy and action. Features the single most jaw-dropping fight scene in HK film history: a contest where the combatants' feet cannot touch the ground. When the action leaves the wooden platform, there is nowhere to fight but on the heads of the audience! |
