I'll say up front that I ejected the DVD after about 15 minutes of viewing, and immediately removed disk 2 from my queue.

Aside from the low production values, the dialogue and acting are so unpolished, basically hitting the viewer over the head with the fact that THESE PEOPLE ARE VAMPIRES, that I couldn't bear to watch any more. Definately not sophisticated, clever, or intriguing in any way.

The director's idea of an "interesting" shot is to have the main vampire looking out the door of his mansion, while his face blends with the cheesy frosted image of a wolf on the glass. Wow, what amazing symbolism! What tacky taste for a vampire lord.

This show would probably only appeal to fans of vampire stories who have run out of Buffy, Blade, Lestat, and Count Dracula vehicles to enjoy.
