| I watched the original series as a kid over and over. As an adult I still love Scooby Doo. This modern version isn't strictly cannon - the TV shows never ever had even the whiff of supernatural left at the end (okay, maybe once)and the costumes & roles have been updated a tad. This feature (the first of a series of feature length Scooby movies) pits the gang against actual supernatural entities, as opposed to the old real-estate speculator in the mask pretending to be a supernatural entity. The animation is great, the voice acting is too. This is by far the best written of the series and the music is surprisingly good. Did I mention I laughed out loud a few times? |
