I haven't written a review before, but I felt compelled to do so now. I have just rented this, after eagerly awaiting it.
What a clever concept! -- thought I. What an interesting roster! It was, but it just can't make this disc into something watchable. I've got to say that it was about as bad as watching real fishing shows on tv, only the "funny" voice-overs were just annoying. Everything here should have been much more interesting. Can't make movies, but I know I could have done better with these guys on board.
Don't believe the hype, this is just irritating. You'll be more and more mad that you rented it as each episode passes. In my lifetime of movie watching, I have only NOT finished a movie about twice. This was one of them. Yuck!

| Tom Waits, on a boat, for half an hour. Absolutely priceless. This is one of those rare miniseries which can be watched all in one day. Absolutely priceless. |
